Gleneagles Eagles Livestream!
There’s a brand new livestream cam of (appropriately named and located) eagles in the Gleneagles neighborhood named Glen and Gladys. How great is that!
It was installed in February 2025 by Hancock Wildlife and generously shared under an Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 2.5 Canada Creative Commons license. Hancock Wildlife is an organization of very experienced scientists and wildlife experts. They have a lot of excellent information about the West Vancouver eagle cam and Glen and Gladys.
If you’re looking at the livestream at night or in cloudy weather and it looks black and white with bright lights shining on the eagles, and you’re thinking, as I did, those lights must really bother them- not at all. I’ll save you the google search if you’re unfamiliar with infrared like me. The lights are infrared so the eagles don’t notice any light at all.

“Jackie and Shadow” at Big Bear Valley high in the California mountains – now the proud parents of three eaglets! About 50,000 people are watching at any given time as they are protected and fed. The eaglets are often protected under Jackie or Shadow sitting on the nest, but you will see them when they are fed or when Jackie and Shadow shift around.
